Our focus isn’t merely on crafting dramatic scenes; it’s about fostering a deep sense of presence and ease on stage. The workshops aim not to produce a performance but to unlock a profound level of confidence and connection with fellow actors. This journey is about mastering the art of collaboration, fine-tuning your skills in active listening, and engaging fully with your stage companions.

Embracing a comprehensive approach, we strive for the seamless unity of body, emotion, and action. Through a diverse array of improvisation techniques—ranging from classical improvisation to innovative methods of dramatic, emotional, movement, and vocal improv—we explore the depths of theatrical expression. The workshops are energized by a variety of theatre games that not only unleash a surge of positivity but also foster strong bonds and a sense of unity within the group.

As our workshops conclude, participants will be honored with a Certificate from the Academy of Arts and Culture, marking their journey and growth.

Our acting workshops are tailored to accommodate two distinct levels: a beginners' group for those new to acting, and a group for individuals with some experience.

Starting from 18 years old, we welcome anyone eager to delve into the art of acting. Whether you're taking your first steps on stage or seeking to refine your skills, our supportive and dynamic environment is the perfect place to explore your potential.

When?

OUR GROUPS

Piotr Filonowicz

Founder and leader of theater workshops at the Academy of Arts and Culture.

A graduate of the Theater Academy in Warsaw and Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He led the group Night Line dealing with free improvisation Fabryka Destrukcja group, and Vocal Line group focusing on work with voice based on traditional songs. He organizes ethnomusicological expeditions, during which he collects material for vocal work. He conducts vocal workshops „Przedzalnia glosu" [now also in English]. Specializes in work on arousing the natural strength of voice and integrating emotions, movement and voice.

The group has up to 15 participants.

When to pay?

Payment is made in advance for the semester. In the case of payment in instalments - the second instalment before the 5th, and the third before the 9th meeting. The first payment reserves the place in the group (instalment or full amount).

You must pay the first instalment or full amount to the ASiK account (or at the ASiK secretariat) no later than 3 working days after the notification.

ATTENTION! If you won’t like the semester classes, you can take the money back without giving a reason - if you report this within 5 days from the first meeting.
