Theatre director, dramaturg, theatre pedagogue, graduate of Polish Philology and the PWST in Kraków.
Between 1995–2005, as an actress and producer, she co-created the theatre Studium Teatralne, based on the actor’s physical work and drawing from the best traditions of the Polish theatrical avant-garde.
She made her directorial debut in Wrocław in 2009 with Mateusz Pakuła’s “Franciszek – sen everymana”. She directed: “Ismena” by Anna Wojnarowska at the Teatr Dramatyczny in Warsaw, “Niewypowiedziane” based on Andrew Bovell at Teatr Kana in Szczecin, and over twenty performances for children and youth. She has prepared numerous staged readings in theaters in Wrocław, Kraków, Warsaw, Szczecin and Białystok.
She has extensive experience in conducting workshops with children, youth, and adults, including several editions within the program „Lato w teatrze” (Summer at the Theater). Between 2016–2019, she collaborated with the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, leading music-theatre workshops. In the summer of 2022, within a NIMiT project, she was part of a Polish-Ukrainian team working with Ukrainian children under the direction of Michał Znaniecki. The project culminated in the September 2023 premiere of “Zaporożec za Dunajem” directed by Jolanta Denejko and Olena Savchuk at the Wrocław Opera. From 2019–2025, at the Warsaw Chamber Opera, she worked as an assistant director, including on productions of W.A. Mozart’s “Czarodziejski flet” directed by G. Castellanos, J.Ph. Rameau’s “Castor et Pollux” directed by D.C. Colonna, and W.A. Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” directed by M. Znaniecki.
She is the author of numerous theatrical adaptations. In February 2023, as the culmination of her Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship, she directed a staged reading of her debut play “Skrzypce–śledztwo”, inspired by the biography of Tomasz Panufnik.
