Weekend Acting School for Adults is finally here in English!

WASA offers an intensive acting education for adults.

It's a great opportunity for those who want to improve their acting skills, as well as those who want to discover more about themselves.

The program is based on the belief that we all possess a full range of emotional states and human behaviors. We can not only play any character, but also find them within ourselves.

Get ready to unleash your inner actor and join us for an unforgettable experience!

Our school aims to unlock your creativity and boost your self-confidence by helping you develop the fundamental tools of an actor - your body and voice.

Through subjects such as:

Body work,

Natural voice emission,

Experience and expression,

Improvisation,

Camera work,

Scenes (culminating in an open show),

you will learn to enter and exit emotional states with ease.

Our school is designed for adults, and our classes typically attract participants between 18 and 60 years old, with an average age range of 25-30 years in previous editions. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, including those seeking greater self-confidence in both personal and professional aspects of their lives, aspiring actors, and individuals who simply enjoy self-improvement.

Upon completion of the school, you will receive a certificate as recognition of your hard work and newfound skills.

When?

WASA WARSAW DODO consists of 16 two-day meetings.

The classes take place on:

Saturdays: 2:00 PM-5:00 PM and 6:00 PM-9:00 PM

Sundays: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM and 2:00 PM-5:00 PM

Each weekend includes a total of four three-hour classes. The course finishes with an open show of our work after each 8 weekends.

The order of applications decides. You can register:

You need to provide your name, surname, date of birth and phone number.

We welcome information about any previous theatrical experience of the registering persons, but it is not necessary.

The registration requires confirmation from us [we check the availability of places].

The registration becomes valid for ASiK after receiving the payment or proof of payment.

We will send a contract template to the email address, which we will sign with the participant at the first meeting.

Cost

EARLY BIRD PRICE TILL 30.06.2024

7600 PLN for the whole year of study

The sum should be paid to ASiK's account (or in the ASiK's office) no later than 3 working days after registration.

There is a possibility to pay in installments. The second installment is due before the 4th meeting, third before 8th meeting, fourth before the 12th meeting. Installments: 4 x 2100 PLN.

Proof of payment should be sent by email (zapisy@warsztaty-teatralne.pl).

If you don't like the WASA classes, you can get your money back without giving a reason (with a deduction of 500 PLN for the first weekend session). Report it within 5 days of the first meeting.

The price does not include accommodation or meals.

Other information:

We bring a change of clothes (comfortable); we exercise in changed footwear.

Please arrive for classes 15 minutes before their scheduled start.

There is free tea and coffee available at the Academy.

To receive a Certificate, you cannot miss more than 25% of classes (counted from the moment of registration for classes).
