  Piotr Filonowicz
  

  Piotr Filonowicz

  He created and leads the theater workshops at the Academy of Theatre. He is a graduate of the Theater Academy and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and the founder of the groups Linia Nocna and Fabryka Destrukcja. He organizes ethnomusicological travels and conducts voice opening classes. He established the Voice Spinning Mill and is a co-creator of free improvisation. He has participated in numerous theater workshops (including under the direction of Eugenio Barba and Thomas Richards). Piotr Filonowicz is also the author of scripts produced in theater. He has published essays on Rilke, Proust, Schulz, and Wyspiański. He creates numerous artistic projects and is the president of the Contemporary Art Foundation.

  Aleksandra Kowalczyk
  

  Aleksandra Kowalczyk

  Singer, educator, performer. She studied cultural studies and Slavic studies at the University of Warsaw and Bulgarian folk singing at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. She focuses on voice, sound perception, and interculturality. She founded the experimental vocal improvisation group Syreny. She has collaborated with the contemporary music magazine “Glissando” and the Węgajty Theater. She sings in the folk band Córy Mary. She is active in the Contemporary Art Foundation on projects related to performance and traditional vocal techniques. She conducts workshops on voice emission and traditional singing, as well as sound walks. She coordinates the Voice Spinning Mill vocal workshops.

  Angelika Mizińska
  

  Angelika Mizińska

  She graduated in dance and performing arts from the School of Art and Design at Coventry University in the UK (Bachelor of Arts). She studied dance at the University of Illinois in the USA and as an exchange student at the Viljandi Culture Academy in Estonia. She graduated with a degree in Contemporary Culture, majoring in culture and media management at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She is a certified somatic movement educator according to the Body-Mind Centering® approach and an yoga teacher in the Ashtanga tradition.
  She practices dance, improvisation, and somatic movement. She works comprehensively as an educator, teacher, artist, producer, and performer. She finds fulfillment in collective creative and educational processes, in recent years in cooperation with the Nurt Foundation and the Mudita Foundation. Since 2022, she has been working as a producer at Nowy Teatr.
  She constantly develops her interest in movement practices, including dance improvisation, contact improvisation, somatic methods of working with the body and movement, ashtanga yoga, and approaches to working with touch (including Wuo tai, Thai massage). In her artistic explorations, she combines an interest in economics and socially engaged art, exploring the physicality and relationality of the body in movement in experimental choreographic, improvisational, and compositional forms. As an educator, she draws on somatic movement methods, improvisational practices, release-based contemporary, as well as Nonviolent communication (NVC), and polyvagal theory.

  Alicja Pietruszka
  

  Alicja Pietruszka

  A graduate of the acting program at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art (Białystok Branch) and the Escuela de Arte Dramático in Valladolid, where she played the role of Claire in the diploma performance “Gardenal” directed by Juan Manuel Gomez (Zorilla Teatro Valladolid, 2012). In 2015, she participated in the theater project Instant Act, during which, together with fifteen artists from around the world representing various fields of art, she toured Western Germany and Southern Italy, performing a jointly created play (directed by Arkadiusz Ziętek, Interkunt Berlin) in places where access to culture is limited. She collaborates with various theaters both in Poland and abroad (including the Teatr Miejski in Dresden, Teatr Miejski w Leszno, Teatr Kameralny in Bydgoszcz). Recently, she has been pursuing work as a director. In addition to her stage work, she acts in television series and is also involved in voice-over and dubbing work. Her passion is people, which is why she conducts theater workshops with various groups. Her latest work is the play “Blokowisko,” created with seniors from the “Służewiak” Senior Club, which is a study of loneliness.

  Anna Wolszczak
  

  Anna Wolszczak

  Director (AST Wrocław), theater scholar (KUL Lublin), and theater instructor. She is a scholarship recipient from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for her outstanding artistic achievements, as well as from Rose Bruford College in London and the European Theatre Convention (ETC) in Berlin. In her creative work, she focuses on developing an original language of visual theater and animated matter. During the creative process, she enjoys balancing physical actions, performance, and visual arts. In her work with actors, the relationship between the body and object is important to her. She has an interest in child psychology, which often leads her to explore themes of growing up and cyclicity in her plays. What excites her most about conducting theater workshops is the participants’ imagination – the abstract, the strange, the mad, and the upside-down!

  Arkadiusz Ziętek
  

  Arkadiusz Ziętek

  From 2003 to 2019, Arkadiusz Ziętek served as the artistic director of Interkunst e.V. in Berlin. In his international projects, he combines various performing arts disciplines, involving actors, musicians, dancers, and circus artists. As a director, actor, screenwriter, trainer, and organizer, he engages in projects addressing social issues. In his theatrical and educational work, he emphasizes interactivity and spontaneity, utilizing a variety of theatrical methods and techniques he learned from their creators and masters: improv, Theatre of the Oppressed, method acting, community theater, and drama techniques. In 2007, alongside Mike Hughes, he led one of the first “Impro” theater workshops in Poland, which significantly contributed to the dynamic development of this genre in the country. He conducts theater workshops and original training sessions that enhance interpersonal skills in areas such as spontaneity, creativity, communication, public speaking, and team building and integration.
