Join us for the Work-In-Progress presentation of “Polish Characters” at Akademia Sztuki i Kultury! You will see 4 monologues of famous characters from classic Polish literature performed in English and perhaps take part in some experimentation right after.
Will be presented:
- Flea from “Antigone in New York” by Janusz Głowacki
- Jasiek from “Wesele” by Stanisław Wyspiański
- Margaret from “Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy” by Witold Gombrowicz
- Balladyna from “Balladyna” by Juliusz Słowacki

Arkadiusz ZiętekFor many years, he served as the artistic director of Berlin’s Interkunst e.V.. It was there that he also had the opportunity to work with leading acting coaches who became a great source of inspiration for him. Drawing on the experience gained from theatrical practice, masterclasses, and his postgraduate studies in directing (PWST) and coaching (Collegium Civitas), he conducts workshops and courses for professional actors as well as for young people and adults who want to explore the secrets of stage art. As a director, screenwriter, and trainer, he focuses on interactivity, spontaneity, and social change. He combines various stage disciplines, collaborating with actors, musicians, dancers, and contemporary circus artists.
